On this Africa Day 2024, we invite our communities to reflect on the theme of this year:

“Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa”.

The focus on Education for this year underscores a strategic moment for in-depth discussions on enhancing access to quality education across Africa.  Education initiatives, either from governments or from African diaspora across continent are particularly crucial as Africa faces the most significant challenges globally, with the lowest educational attainment levels. Let’s reflect on what each one of us in the diaspora can do to contribute to the education of black youth.
