We work to promote women and youth empowerment, to encourage them in contributing to the development of the African continent.

Africa Day: May 25th, 2025

Canada for Africa Group proudly celebrates the 62nd anniversary of Africa Day on May 25th, 2025.

This year’s theme, “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations,” honours the memory of those who suffered under slavery and colonialism, while asserting the right of Africa and its diaspora to truth, justice, and restoration.

More than ever, unity among Africans and its diaspora communities around the world is paramount, to stand together in the pursuit of justice, and to assert their place and participation in the global geopolitics.
