Interviewer (2) – Part time position (5h/week)
Canada For Africa Group (CFA-CPA) is a network of women and men who are committed to
empower young African Canadians in building their self-confidence and leadership skills while
connecting them to their cultural roots.
CFA-CPA will conduct between November 2022 and February 2023, a project to collect
information on experiences lived by students of African descent on campuses, and their
integration into the job market once they graduate.
Job Summary
We are hiring 2 par-time interviewers on a 16-week contract to work with a small team in
organizing a series of interviews and workshops on university campuses.
Main duties
–Work in a small team to design a survey questionnaire
–Under the supervision of a project manager, conduct interviews on university campuses
to collect information on the experiences lived by black students
–Data entry
–Participate in the analysis of data collected
–Participate in workshops and/or information sessions
Competences sought
–Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point presentation, etc.)
–Team work
–Analytical skills
–Dynamic
–Organizational skills
–Good understanding and writing skills in French or English (bilingualism is a plus)
Work Hours: 5 hours a week
Compensation: $20.00/hr
Length of contract 16 weeks from November 2022
The successful candidate will work remotely most of the time and will be provided the
necessary tools.
